With the navigation bar component, how do you add a new “slot”?

You can’t add new slots to the plasmic native components.
Why do you need a new slot?

@samuel I’d like to have the menu items centered on the page and have a button on the far right:
so slots are:

But I actually created the nav bar I wanted, just can’t quite figure out how to make the menu items appear on click of an image.
