I was browsing the available Default components and I clicked on the Custom global CSS, to see what it does. After clicking, I got the error seen in the screenshot. I am not sure if this is intended behavior, and I still don’t know what the custom global css component is supposed to do, but I thought I’d bring it up.
Hey @exhaustive_panther. Is this issue easily reproducible? The Custom Global CSS is a component that allows you to write custom CSS inside plasmic that is applied to all the pages.
When I posted this, I tried adding it in various pages and every time I got that error. Now, if I try to add it, I no longer get an error, but nothing happens either.
Is this the same thing as the Project Settings > Embed Css?
Yes. The first time you add it to the project a popup shows up to show you where to configure it
Ok, so then I already had it added long ago, because I’ve been using the Embed Css from Project Settings. I wasn’t sure if it was the same thing.
To avoid confusion, maybe if you try to add it subsequently (which seems to do nothing), a message could be displayed to explain that it doesn’t need to be added again? Or something like: “You can customize global css from Project Settings > Embed Css”.
