Having trouble with onClick event from button component

I’m trying to use the onClick event from code for the button component but it’s not working at all. When I look at the interaction in Plasmic, it shows ‘On click’ not ‘onClick’. Can someone tell me if that’s right? Because it doesn’t seem like it would be. If it is correct, can you tell me what I might doing wrong? I cannot get the console.log to show at all. The two onChange events work perfectly fine, so I’m stumped.
